A Time of Reflection

As we wind down from all the busyness of Christmas shopping, Christmas plays and social gatherings, we can sit back and take a deep breath.

Christmas is a time for reflection, a time to remember Jesus is the reason for the season. Each year we hear this phrase, but how often do we think of the meaning behind it? God sent Jesus for us. Do you know that we are always on God's mind?

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV

Jesus is God's gift to you and me... a gift that can change everything if we will only believe.

As we come to the close of another year and remember the mountain highs and valley lows, we can see God's love and faithfulness in our lives. He has been there to see us through, make it work out for our good, make us stronger in our faith, and build our trust in Him.

Hope: To look forward to with desire and reasonable confidence.

Future: Something that will exist or happen in time to come.

Don't give up your hope in God. He has a great future planned for you!
