God is telling us to draw close to Him, to seek Him, to ask, to cry out to Him; why? He is our loving Father and cares about everything concerning our lives! We know that He not only hears but He answers because there is power in prayer….

Many of us have heard the saying, “April showers bring May flowers.” This originates from the old proverb, "March winds and April showers bring forth May flowers,” meaning ”a period of discomfort can provide for a period of happiness.”

Lord you never cease to amaze me, your mercies are new every morning and that my soul knows very well.

As I celebrate 46 years in the Lord this month, I can remember very vividly the day I said a simple prayer of repentance asking Jesus to come into my heart. Right then and there, I knew I was delivered from every vice that had a grip on my life! My decision to serve the Lord would not come without obstacles and trials, but I knew it was what I needed to do. I had no forethought of what my life would look like, but only knowledge of the fact that I needed to be saved!
