Love Letters

Elizabeth Barrett Browning is known for writing this popular line in her poem;

"How do I love thee, let me count the ways.”

What an expression of emotion that can be felt through those words!  To know and be loved so deeply is something that everyone desires for themselves, right?

Well, in God’s Word, the “lover of our soul” tells us:

“I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.” Jeremiah 31:3

“See what love the Father has lavished on us in letting us be called God’s children!” 1 John 3:1

“By this we know [and have come to understand the depth and essence of His precious] love: that He [willingly] laid down His life for us [because He loved us].” 1 John 3:16

There are no better love letters to read and reread than those from our Heavenly Father.  He wants to remind you of how much HE LOVES YOU!

  • I will love you forever!

  • I will remain faithful to you!

  • I will call you my own!

  • I will lay down my life for you!

If you’ve  ever felt unloved, abandoned or overlooked, just open up your Bible and read one of His love letters to you!

GOD IS LOVE!
