It is well with my soul

PSALM 23:1-6 ISV

The Lord Shepherds His People the Lord is the one who is shepherding me; I lack nothing. He causes me to lie down in pastures of green grass; he guides me beside quiet waters. He revives my life; he leads me in pathways that are righteous for the sake of his name. Even when I walk through a valley of deep darkness, I will not be afraid because you are with me. Your rod and your staff—they comfort me. You prepare a table before me, even in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Truly, goodness and gracious love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will remain in the Lord’s Temple forever.

I had the opportunity to come to Hawaii for my Sabbatical this year cause my friend opened her tiny home for me to stay! There is a lot of rain here and everything is lush and green! I have spent a lot of time indoors listening to the rain and watching the sun come and go, which God has used to slow me down!

When you’re on a Sabbatical you have to learn to slow down from your busyness, it helps you to focus on what God wants to say. This is why this Psalm spoke to me this morning! I am learning to receive the Father’s love and how He wants to bless me, take care of me, give to me and so much more! This was not easy for me!

Through my valley’s (dark times) God’s strength has seen me through! He continually provides me with all that I need; comfort, peace, rest… His anointing upon my life enables me to walk with my head up knowing that I am His daughter and He loves me!!

Friend, I pray that this encourages you and that you too will find refuge in the One that loves you and is watching over you. God is a blesser! IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL!
