Speak Jesus

I recently shared in a message about 2 Pastors that sat next to me on different flights to Hawaii and how we exchanged testimonies and talked about the Lord! I also shared about how God had quickened me about the urgency of the times and asked God to help me speak to others more! After that prayer many opportunities came my way and I was able to do just that, “Speak Jesus!”

1 Peter 3:15 CEV

Honor Christ and let him be the Lord of your life.  Always be ready to give an answer when someone asks you about your hope.

The other day I went shopping and was looking through the clothing, when this young girl asked me if she could get past me? I moved out of her way and responded how the isles were too narrow! We entered a conversation and she proceeded to tell me that she was here from L.A. and going to visit her boyfriend in “Ione Prison.” I shared with her that I was originally from L.A. too and how we had come to Stockton to start a Church. It turned out that she was a Christian and her boyfriend was a new convert! So as I was encouraging her about the Lord and how to pray for her boyfriend. In the conversation I told her that Art had passed 2 years ago and she shared with me that her Pastor died too and that his wife was now the Pastor. How timely was that! She then asked if I could pray for her and I responded “sure.” We both prayed right there in the store and afterwards she asked me if she could have my phone number, so we exchanged numbers.

Psalm 37:30 NIV

The mouths of the righteous utter wisdom, and their tongues speak what is just.

God gave me an opportunity to not only encourage someone but to “Speak Jesus” so that those who were around us could hear too! When we pray and ask God to help us, He hears and He answers!

Matthew 5:13-16 NKJV

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned?

It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. “You are the light of the world.  A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Jesus spoke to all the people, saying, “I am the Light of the world. Anyone who follows Me will not walk in darkness.  He will have the Light of Life.”

John 8:12 NLV

In this Season where we find so much sadness and people still in darkness, let us remember to be that “light” and to “SPEAK JESUS” who truly is the “Light of the World.”

Be Blessed as you Celebrate the birth of our Wonderful Savior-JESUS!
