My Peace

John 14:27 AMP

Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]

How many know that in the days and times we are living in, things can change in a moments time?  We never know if things will get better or if they’ll get worse! But something we do know is that God never changes and neither does His Word!

Malachi 3:6 KJV

For I am the Lord, I change not;

It’s taken me a while to write this blog because as some of you know we just completed the One Year mark of Art’s passing on October 1st.  Even though we Celebrated and Honored him in our Sunday Service, it didn’t erase the BIG gap we still feel in our hearts!  In fact I think I’m barely beginning to really grieve!  What seemed to add to that grief was the passing of others that we  knew who died in the same week!

Sometimes life can hit us hard and maybe even knock us off our feet for a while but how many know that God has a way of coming to our aid and picking us right back up?

Psalms 46:1 KJV

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

There are so many opportunities that God uses to bring growth to our lives, growth in character and also understanding of Who He is!

Micah 6:8 NCB

The Lord has told you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? Only this: to do what is right, to show mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

 That’s it in a nutshell, let’s make it a point to live life well and to the fullest, understanding that yes life will happen but our God is with us every step of the way, you can bank on that!

God’s continued blessings poured out over you and your family!
