I’m Not Lucky, I’m Loved

I was listening to music when a song started playing the lyrics, “I’m not lucky, I’m loved.” How fitting is that in March when people talk about shamrocks, leprechauns and pots of gold? In all reality, people put a lot of emphasis on having good luck. I choose to focus on the fact that I am loved — not lucky!

There are many promises in the word of God confirming you and I are loved.

  • My life is not a product of happenstance, but a definite plan designed by God who loves me.

  • God makes all things work for my good.

  • His word reassures me I am loved with an everlasting love.

  • I am fully supported by God because He will never leave me or forsake me.

  • I’ve been given a promise that there is a place being prepared for me, and that where He is, I’m going to be also.

Lucky? Not at all.
Loved? Most definitely!

Don’t put your trust in superstition or luck. Put your trust in the One who never changes.

For I am the Lord, I change not.  Malachi 3:6 KJV
